Small Town Fun: 2017 Acme Fall Festival

The charms of small town living is alive and well in Acme! Just east of Traverse City, Acme's Fall Festival is a real treat for the whole family.

We love all of the area festivals and celebrations that run throughout the year. It's these activities that bring the community together and honor the seasonal traditions that have marked Northern Michigan living for decades. Harvest time is a special chance to enjoy the foods, the fall colors, and the family fun that marks the season in our area.

The 2017 Acme Fall Festival offers all this and more, and it's right in our back yard! The festival takes place on Saturday, September 30 at Flintfields on Bates Road, near Williamsburg. The kids will have plenty to do, including a visit from the fire department, pumpkin decorating, pony rides, and the ever-popular bounce house!

Adults can peruse the arts and crafts tent, the all-local farmer's market, as well as the silent auction and pie baking contest! It's a wonderful day to whip up your family's secret recipe and put it to the test, or at the very least sample the best offerings from your friends and neighbors.
