You feel a buzz

It's supposed to reach 56 degrees in Elk Rapids today! That's nearly 70 degrees to our advantage, from two weeks ago. It's quite remarkable! That's how Northern Michigan gets you, and why when you get here you stay. As spring starts blossoming and your soul is rejuvenated, you quickly forget the past few months of repeated Artic Blasts.

You take note of the different sounds. I was thrilled to hear the dripping of melted snow off of the roof!!! How long has that been? Birds are chirping. I'm not kidding, I've heard them!!!

What I love the most though is the "buzz" of spring. I feel it in the office today! People are happy! You hear the change in the tone of their voices. You see the extra little spring in their step as they move around the office. Shane's with a client, Celeste is on the phone, Stephen's off to get paperwork signed and Casey's working his magic. The copier is spitting out more TAAR professional reports and disclosures for our clients. The phone has been ringing to confirm and schedule those showings. It's awesome!
